EMAAR BEACHFRONT
Sitting between the popular communities of Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai Harbour is a vibrant new beachfront destination that is designed to be a hub of coastal and seafaring activity. Aside from high-end apartment complexes and commercial buildings, the area’s most defining features are its waterfront attractions, including two cruise terminals, the largest marina in the MENA region and a rising new architectural landmark in the form of the Dubai Lighthouse.
Dubai Harbour will have a strong transport network that connects it to the Dubai mainland, and will also provide easy passage to the neighbouring Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters Island.
THE LIFESTYLE
This is an area tailor-made for lovers of sun, sea and sand. Primarily meant to enhance Dubai’s reputation for maritime tourism, it will offer a resort lifestyle with a strong focus on water-based entertainment and recreation. Residents of the community will enjoy easy access to the beach and boardwalk promenades where they can explore retail and dining options while taking in views of cruise ships and yachts on the open sea.
EMAAR BEACHFRONT
A residential and leisure destination being developed by Emaar Properties, Emaar Beachfront will span roughly half the area of Dubai Harbour. It will be divided among luxury apartments, a five-star hotel and other attractions.
DUBAI LIGHTHOUSE
The city’s newest architectural landmark is a stunning 135-metre tall observation tower with a very futuristic design. Dubai Lighthouse will offer 360-degree panoramas of the city and the ocean, and can also be used as a giant projection screen for shows and events.
MARITIME ACTIVITIES
Dubai Harbour will be a waterfront destination like no other in the city. Its biggest draw is the presence of two cruise terminals that can each hold 6,000 passengers at a time, with an expected annual load of 1.2 million passengers. The area will also be home to the largest marina in the MENA region, capable of docking yachts up to 85 metres long.
